I found this on the web and think this is clever invention. Milk Saver helps you store the milk that leaks out from mother’s breast while nursing on the other side. It can also be used throughout the day, when she is not feeding at all. Store it in a bottle for use at other time.

Simple toy offers rich lessons

Did you know that a baby has to hear thousands of repetitions of a word before he understand it and more times before he is able to say it? Repetition brings a tremendous benefit for your child's learning and it's not boring to him. Playtime is a fun way to repeat the things you want him to learn. Imagine if you sit down with your child and say " Mat, we are going to talk about colors. This is red. Repeat after me, red". You are not teaching them to learn about colors but teaching him that learning is boring.

So, speak in short little sentences, repeat the keywords and vary the repetition. It helps your child to learn the language fast. This is a tried and tested method.I've been using the technique with my deaf child and it has proven to yield good result.

Beautiful swaddle

You will always receive your newborn wrapped snugly in a swaddling cloth or maybe a blanket. It's to provide warmth and security. It also can help to calm your baby. And baby's first pictures always with this first outfit.

As for me, I swaddle my baby using nappy cloth. I just swaddle underarm to down. I don't know whether the cloth is small or my baby is long, OR I'm not good at swaddling, he would regularly get his feet free of the wrap. I found that swaddling helps a lot during breastfeeding in the first few days after delivery.

In my search about swaddle, I came to an online store where there are really,really beautiful swaddle. REALLY!! You should have a look at it. Diaper bags Guide

After I’ve packed my hospital bag, I’ve just realized that usually I used the diaper bag for this purpose. I’ve not using any diaper bag quite sometimes, I’ve forgotten about it.
So I make a checklist things I want to put inside a diaper bag, hopefully I can find one that will carry it all.
1. 4 pieces of Diapers
2. 2 changes of clothes
3. 1 mom shirt – lightweight,won’t wrinkles, matches with just everything
4. toileteries – talk, bath, nappy cream, sunscreen
5. handkerchief
6. wet tissue
7. hat and socks for baby
8. a bottle of water to drink
9. plastic for dirty/wet clothes
10. book for baby/me
11. camera

Then, when I start to surf the net, I was amazed by the look of the diaper bags. They are so gorgeous and stylish. Especially the Oi Oi brand. But I can’t afford it lah…. However, here are something to consider before buying one:

1.Style of the bag – Messenger, shoulder, backpack, tote,etc. I think Shoulder DB works for me, as it’s easily accessible and easier for me to carry while I’m using babysling.
2.Price - More money is usually needed for a designer label and/or a fancy fabric
3.Size - Make sure your bag will hold all of your gear and ask yourself...
4.Material -A diaper bag must be easy to clean!
5. Closures - These affect the accessibility of your bag and can prevent items from spilling out of the bag and getting lost. Large zippers, velcro, snaps and drawstring are among to consider.
6.Pockets – I like to have both internal external and internal pockets for easy grabbing.
7.Extras - Here are a few options:Changing pads,Insulated internal or external pouches can keep bottles cold, removable straps make any bag more versatile,Zip-off pockets allow you to change the size of your storage and easily hang to the stroller

My First Entry

Dear All,

I’ve created this blog for me to share what interest me as a mom of 5 children. I like to surf the Internet ( I click a lot) and do a lot of reading. Basically my interest is anything related to my children. I have 3 boys and 2 girls, and their age is 8, 7,5,3 years old and 1 months old. I have a special child who is deaf and he’s the reason I resigned from my job. I become SAHM primarily to help my deaf son to learn to listen and talk through listening. In these 3 years he came from no words to thousands words, telling and making up stories and learning maths,reading, writing and science with me at home.

Now, with a baby and no maid, I also don’t know for sure how I’ll manage my life. Hopefully , this blog will help me to keep my sanity. Not only sharing what I want to share but also find same-minded people to talk to.
